Jokowi Conducts Halal Bihalal with Jakarta Civil Servants

On the 1st day of work, Jakarta Governor Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo conducts halal bihalal (post-Ramadan gathering) with civil servants serving under Jakarta Provincial Government, at City Hall, Monday (8/4).

Wearing Limnas uniforms, Jokowi arrived at 7.50 AM. He was greeted by Vice Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama and City Secretary, Saefullah.
“Sir, please forgive all my wrongdoings,” said Saefullah to Jokowi who replied, “Me too”.
Jokowi Conducted Eid Salah at City HallHundreds of civil servants lined up in front of the City Hall’s pavilion while waiting for the event begins. The queue is snaking up to more than 100 meters, starting from the front of the City Hall’s pavilion to the City Council (DPRD) building.
The gathering is also attended by Assistant of Development Division Wiriyatmoko, Deputy of Population and Settlement Division Syahrul Effendi, Deputy of Environmental Division Sarwo Handayani, Deputy of Tourism Division Sylviana Murni, Deputy of Transportation Division Sutanto Suhodo, Assistant of Society Welfare Bambang Sugiono, and Assistant of Government Division Mara Oloan Siregar.
After the gathering, Jokowi and Basuki are scheduled for an executive meeting (rapim) with regional working unit (SKPD) heads. One of the thing to be discussed in the meeting is newcomers invasion in the capital.
